Meet Nana- Séntuo
Nana-Sentuo Bonsu is a multimedia journalist in Washington, D.C., known for telling stories that inform, connect and empower communities.
Her career has taken her across the United States and internationally from reporting and producing in Accra, Ghana, to covering breaking news and major community stories in North Carolina, Virginia, Detroit, and the nation’s capital. Along the way, she has reported on everything from politics and public policy to social issues and human-interest stories that highlight the voices often overlooked.
Nana-Sentuo began her journalism journey at Virginia Commonwealth University before launching her career overseas in Ghana, where she worked in both television and radio. Since then, she has continued to grow as a storyteller across multiple markets, bringing curiosity, compassion and accountability to every story she covers.
Beyond the newsroom, Nana-Sentuo is a moderator, speaker and event host who enjoys engaging audiences in meaningful conversations about media, community, and leadership. Her mission remains simple: to amplify voices, spark dialogue and ensure that the stories shaping our communities are told with clarity and purpose.
